Our story began with our founder, Chef Letícia Seibert, who moved to the United States with the dream of becoming a hairstylist. While waiting for the opportunity to pursue that career, she turned to what she had always loved, cooking.
When the pandemic arrived, she faced the challenge of building a business in a new country, learning to work with unfamiliar ingredients and recreating every recipe from scratch. Through dedication, passion, and an unwavering commitment to quality, Sweet Sunflower was born.
As more people experienced her food, one thing became clear: they kept coming back. Not only for the flavors, but for the care, attention to detail, and hospitality behind every order.
At home, nothing is different. Every birthday, holiday, and family gathering is still prepared by Chef Letícia, who believes that sharing a meal is one of the greatest ways to show love. That same care is at the heart of every event we create for our clients.
As the company grew, her daughter, Juliana Seibert, recognized its potential and made a life changing decision. After a successful career managing a luxury retail brand, she left the corporate world to become the Director of Sweet Sunflower, helping transform a family passion into a growing catering company.
